La empresa de diseño de mobiliario IGGA Artcollection presenta "Autobiografía".
En palabras de su diseñador Ignacio García, arquitecto fundador de la firma de diseño, "Autobiografía es la colección de columnas que hemos creado para pensarnos a nosotros mismos. Cada una de ellas enfrenta relaciones de fuerza con los modos de existencia. Sólo si somos capaces de proyectar nuestras predilecciones sobre las columnas, disfrutaremos de numerosas posibilidades vitales de inocencia y bienestar".

El diseño de las columnas reinterpreta la obra escultórica de Daniel Buren para Cour d´Honneur del Palacio Real de París (Two Levels. 1985/86, Mármol negro y blanco). Mientras que la idea de las columnas se remonta a los antiguos mercados ubicados al aire libre, donde la gente solía reunirse bajo los árboles para desarrollar sus actividades. Aquellos árboles tenían en común el fuerte olor que desprendían las mercancías que bajo ellos se vendían y el ruidoso clamor de la gente que se agrupaba a su alrededor.
Inspiradas en aquellos árboles, añade Ignacio García, "Las columnas proponen liturgias en una lengua que no es la suya. Nosotros somos responsables de no desplegarlas".

The design of the columns reinterprets Daniel Buren's sculptural work for Cour d'Honneur of the Royal palace in Paris (Two Levels. 1985/86, Black and white marble). And the idea of the columns comes from the markets located outdoors where the people often were making activities under the trees. Those trees had jointly the strong smell of the selling goods and the noisy clamor of the people around the trees.
Inspired by those trees, Ignacio García says that "the columns propose liturgies in a language that is not own of the columns. We are persons in charge if we do not understand the meaning of the columns".
